Brief Company Description:

TASER International, Inc. engages in the development and manufacture of electronic control devices for use in law enforcement, corrections, private security, and personal defense. The company offers two product lines for law enforcement, military, and corrections market, which include ADVANCED TASER M26 product line consisting of the ADVANCED TASER M26, various cartridges, rechargeable batteries, a battery charging system, data download software and equipment, and various holstering options and accessories; and TASER X26 product line consisting of TASER X26, various cartridges, TASER Cam, a battery system, a digital power magazine, download software and equipment, and holstering options and accessories.

It also manufactures ADVANCED TASER M18, ADVANCED TASER M18L, and TASER X26c devices for the consumer market. TASER International sells its products directly, as well as through a network of law enforcement distributors, commercial distributors, and a military and government contracting distributor in the United States. It also markets and distributes its products internationally through a network of distributors.

TASER International has a strategic alliance with iRobot Corp. to develop a new robotic capability utilizing TASER technologies. The company was founded in 1993. It was formerly known as ICER Corporation and changed its name to AIR TASER, Inc. in 1993. Further, the company changed its name to TASER International, Incorporated in 1998 and to TASER International, Inc. in 2001. TASER International is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.
